The message behind her work, if we were to summarize it, would be: In the midst of all the ugliness around us, one can always find beauty and sensitivity.

bio

Born and raised in Beirut. After graduating from ALBA, she moved to Paris for 4 years in 1995, then back to Beirut. In 2020, she settled in London. Mireille has been teaching Visual Arts for 31 years, and is a Member of the “Salon d’ Autumne du Grand Palais à Paris”.

Her favourite artists from whom she draws her inspiration are: Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Wajih Nahle.

Education


  • Diploma in Visual Arts in, Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts, 1991

  • In 1994, she attended an in-depth training course in serigraphy, sculpture and engraving, in Cergy-Pontoise, France
